Francis Boulle Purchase Boulle's Jewels at Amazon

Listed as one of London’s most eligible bachelors by Tatler’s Little Black Book for three years running, Francis was next tapped to play alongside his social cohorts in E4’s Made In Chelsea.

Francis’ spent his childhood travelling the world through his father’s business ventures, and developed a thirst for adventure early on. An avid polo player, skateboarder and surfer, he has chased the waves around the globe. Francis attended The Oratory School, in Berkshire, England and went on to read Philosophy and Economics at the University of Edinburgh.

It was in his second year of university that he truly honed his entrepreneurial skills, marketing portfolios of rough and polished diamonds to private investors, hedge funds and private banks as well as exporting gold dust from the Congo to a gold refinery in the Middle East. He then began his foray in to venture capital and has invested in several technology and internet startups which are currently at varying stages of development.

Passionate about finance, business, politics and economics, his interest in politics led to him creating sexymp.co.uk which he created to help the British electorate become familiar with their Members of Parliament and lift the veil on Westminster.

Francis’ latest venture is Fundmine.com an online venture capital and angel investment platform that allows entrepreneurs to sell their company visions to private investors that has to date attracted £8.7m of backing. Fundmine was conceived as a response to the lack of financing options available to SMEs in the wake of the recession and global economic instability.

Francis’ first book, Boulle’s Jewels, hit the shelves in 2012 and focused on his own lessons learned as a young entrepreneur determined to make his fortune and his mark on his own terms – a self-made man.
